It was just a few days ago that Kylie Jenner was reminiscing about the platinum blonde hair she&aposs had on and off in years past, posting photos of it to her Instagram Stories and telling viewers that she&aposs frequently tempted to do it again. Well, we didn&apost get far into 2020 before Jenner made a major hair change, and I suppose you could call it blonde — but it&aposs definitely not platinum.
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul shared a photo of herself on Instagram late on Friday night, revealing that her hair is now a vibrant lemon yellow shade. She wrote “yummy 🍋💛💛” in the caption of the photo, which shows her posing in a tight minidress and holding a handbag in the exact same shade of yellow. (Just watch: Matching your hair color to your bag is totally going to be a thing in 2020.) Her hair reaches well past her waist, brushing her hips. She also shared a few selfie videos to her Instagram Stories to show some closeups of the sunshiny color.
Unsurprisingly, fans and famous friends are pretty much obsessed. “YUP. 😍,” wrote Hailey Bieber (who probably appreciates that the word Jenner used to describe the color, yummy, is the same as the title of husband Justin Bieber&aposs new single). “Damn kylie,” Mario Dedivanovic commented, while best friends Stassie Karanikolaou posted, “yummy is right 🤤🤤.”
This isn&apost the first time Jenner has kicked off a new year with a not-so-natural hair color; she rang in 2019 with a new baby blue hair color. However, unlike the blue hue, it seems this new yellow shade is very likely a wig, considering her natural hair is a much shorter length and she&aposs been known to make dramatic quick switches with the help of hairpieces in the past. But hey, perhaps this is her way to ease back into the platinum blonde she&aposs been missing so much. We&aposll just have to wait and see.
